Digging ditches. Digging ditches sucks
Im thinking about going to school for electrical engineering. Im kinda concerned about the digging. Is it really that har. I mean im just a girl so idk if i can do that all the time
Just looking into becoming an electrician and came across this video. He is a little turd. You need to take some criticism and toughen up.
What a negative view on things. You’re not helping anyone by complaining. I could apply these reasons to any job if I wanted to moan and groan about something. Try to change your thinking to find something good in every situation. Maybe you just need a change in scenery or a new career. It sounds like you’re sick of this job. Im in school studying to be an electrician right now and I know for a fact everything you listed is just fixed by adjusting your attitude. I hope things get better my man. Cheers.
Lotsa tough trade guys in these comments. Jk prolly a bunch of shit talkers who don’t know how to offset a pipe
When other Trades walk or run over your cat 6 cable , while doing a project. That's annoying.
Thanks for this. I’m looking into the electrician trade myself and it sounds pretty great, but it’s also good to hear the reasons why it’s not all sunshine and roses.
Late to the party, but everyone's different.
I'm from UK, I was doing electrical based work in a unit, like office work but was repairing components. I took the plunge to study my level 2&3 in electrical installation and I've been in it 9 months, and I hate it. I unfortunately lack confidence, I like to be shown things and be doing it a while. I find I'm thrown in the deep end lots, and then moaned at for getting it wrong. Everyone thinks they're 'the best electrician', last I knew, there wasn't any awards for that. Self employed sounded great, in reality it's so companies can get rid of you when their work dries, no security, use your own car..so even though you're making better money, by the time you deduct holiday, sick pay, use of car/fuel you're probably not much better off. I have a few more rolls of the dice, but I'm seriously thinking of getting out already. I love electrics, but I hate construction and site work.
Digging??? I started out w/ a pick & shovel, electrical work is a way of life, knowledge.
Thanks, great video
Thanks, great video
Thanks, great video
I’m an electrician
The only thing I don’t like is the hire fire replace mentality if you have to miss days for hospitalization within family
I was dealing with a situation with my daughter and got fired because I took 3 days off because she was in the er
And I dealt with it again when I went somewhere else with planned out months in advance so that is so far the only thing about it I don’t like
I love the trade being an electrician is a bad ass job but we could do a little better with employees needing time off for being sick or having emergiencys with out having to worry about losing your job
Thanks, great video
Thanks, great video
BETA!
Is this a joke? You must be the worst co-worker. No wonder people don’t “appreciate” you. You need to reassess you life.
My first week on site the foreman said to me " You will never become an electrician. Prove me wrong" fast forward 10yrs im a contractor. Moral of the story: dont be a bitch
We'll go run a machine at a factory and put part after part in a machine for 12 hrs
I can't believe people are complaining about this guys work ethic. All of you are just sheep that choose to be wage slaves.
I'm thankful I chose not to become an Electrician. Like all trades it's a shitty job.
Awe poor baby. Go knit a sweater
Wearing a hard hat ????
I'm surprised anyone would even hire you
The only thing I hate about being an electrician is working with puss*** like you. Wow your a bit*h
This guy is the snowflake generation. I hope maybe this was a joke video?!
Stupid reasons quit crying
you sound like a bitch lol
Holy fuck bro. You’re a pussy. Electric work is easy, that’s why I switched to it. Go get an office job you fuckin wet blanket.
I thought he was going to say some real shit. But he’s just Bitching for little things..
We got a pussy in the room
meh those things happens a lot
just start your day think as you are a wise and good hard working man in the field
also keep a small note and a pen to start write down some important stuffs like jobs that needs to be finished or materials you need for next work.
have a nice day man.
PS
weather is something we can't control so I'll have to say deal with it.
Is he serious? Or is he trying to be sarcastic?
Most of your problems don't have anything to do with being an electrician, they're mostly caused by the environment like the company you're working for. And no electrician on this planet likes it to work after a fellow electrician.
I think you would be a better fit for an office job..
Get a desk job softy!!! Your the kind of kid I put on a ditch till you quit
Going to trade school. Watched all your other content. Haha for someone who doesn't care about production or making a presentable channel you still have qualities for being a good creator.
Anyway, thanks for the vids. It really put this trade into perspective and I may even do a channel like yours myself. 😛
Take care.
dont be a bitch, this applies to all jobs.being an electrician rocks Love my job
BLAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH YOU SUCK!
This kid is the biggest pussy ever! Pack it in kid
Lol the amount of butthurt people here in these comments
I used to do low voltage (I get that it’s not electrical but it’s similar).
Everything you said is true. I remember constantly having to drive to job sites which were a minimum of an hour away, usually more (with my own car, no gas pay or mileage). Shift times could be as short as 3 hours or as long as 14 with no notice, at all times of the day. Environments were always filled with asbestos, dust and who knows what in the older ceilings.
One time we worked at an apartment construction site all through winter and there was no heat whatsoever. Low pay as well. I could go on and on.
To those who enjoy working in the trades, I commend you. But nobody should be cutting down this man for being honest. If you have the option to make the same money in an office setting as you would in the trades you would be a fool not to IMO.
Good luck in getting out man, it sucks out there.
