Pilot bit! Where is he, he should be there to be inserted into her whilst the other chap is inserted into her from behind. It looks like he worked well. "Mine is a little bit smaller" lol
Hi mate I'm currently a building services apprentice (electrical electrical designer in the office) and watching your vids has really given me knowledge and makes me think if my designs will work. Keep up the good eork.
Should of ordered the solid ducting kit from Nuaire. Choose round or rectangular kit and comes with necessary bends and adaptions to fit into the unit. Neat work though. Health and safety bods would love the dustless coring. Good work and great watch.
The kick back would definitely phase you if you had a proper drill!! 🙂 Also, to get brick out of core hold it face down and hit the side of it with a tickling stick and eventually it falls out as you disturb the dust trapping it in there…
It's been out a while that dust clip on extension thingy. It clogs and the rubber bush falls off constantly once its been used a bit. Get the old Milwaukee core drill for future holes and never look back 😉
Those sizes are for plumbers mate, for 32mm, 40mm and 4inch pipes. Loads of manufactures of core drills do hover attachements including makita. MANUFACTURERS LIKE Diaquip Hilti Metabo Makita Milwalke
Wear a fricken mask you daft git do you like inhaling silica from brick and tiles? make sure you have good life insurance so the misses gets a good pay out when your lungs are funked honestly £2 to £3 for a mask and £5 for ear defenders so no tinnitus. Your struggling early on because your angle is off.
Talking of dustless, did I once see a short vid of you using an Armeg box sinker, I can't find it now but would like to see another demo' if it was you. Thanks for your excellent vids.
Breeze blocks and plaster, not so bad, we had to core drill some engineering bricks on a 1960's house for kitchen and small toilet extractor. That was fun!
Should you not have put in solid ducting or fitted a sleeve for the flexi going through the wall?
Crap product. Used it and it was useless
What pass mark did you get? I recently passed aswell

Next stop Hatton Garden.
I've got the same kit (using it as a diy'er) found it frustrating that there wasn't a pilot bit with it. Great explanation of the kit though, thanks.
